The following services are available at our studio in Devizes:
Sports Massage is a form of massage that aims to speed up recovery and prevent injury. When compared to traditional relaxation massage, sports massage is more intense and focused on specific areas that may have suffered trauma, or are tight as a result of over-use through day-to-day activities or sports. Sports massage is also used as a way of improving pre-event sports performance or post-event recovery, regardless of whether an injury is present.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage is a more focused form of relaxation massage that aims to penetrate deeper into the muscle tissue, giving a greater tension relieving response. It uses a mix of classical massage strokes, but with greater pressure. Deep Tissue Massage will also help to increase circulation to the targeted muscle, helping to boost the body's natural healing process.
Indian Head Massage
Indian head massage is a traditional therapeutic treatment that has been practiced for thousands of years, and forms part of the Hindu health care practice of Ayurveda. Focusing on the head, neck and shoulders, it is a deep massage, using a variety of pressure and strokes, as well as some gentle stretching. An Indian Head Massage should leave you feeling relaxed, serene and clear-headed, as well as improving the texture of your hair, and improving the flow of blood to the upper body. After an Indian Head Massage you may feel more alert, and be able to concentrate better at work.
